Philanthropy in Franklin, TN

Like Chiefly in Letters to Malcolm, I had an unexpected experience of discovery.  The experience lead me to write about commonalities and the discovery of connectedness between seemingly unrelated things

So, what does a coat of many blues, a manger surrounded by crowns and prayer tags, and a Faith sign have in common?  On the face of it,  not much and yet it was these three things that drew me into Philanthrop in Franklin, Tennessee.

The coat enchanted me but I had no hope of fitting the largest size, a large.  And yet,  here I am at my beloved Local Place wearing it. It was meant to be.

As I walks through the shop enjoying its decidedly Christian vibe, a smiling clerk directed me to the crown jewel of their shop, a Chapel, right in the heart of the store.

Never in my life . . .  I was left breathless.  Like the closet in The War Room, the walls were covered with tags, each adorned with someone's heartfelt prayer.

A day after this discovery, I am still feeling a throb in my heart from a prayer murmured over my daughter and a memory of a very kind clerk named Heather.
