California Girl: Duck River Edition - The Cookbook

Unpacking from a big move is a little bit like Christmas morning.  Much that has been unseen, for so long, now rises to the surface like treasure waiting to be rediscovered.  This book was my mom's cookbook.  It was much used and much loved.  The copy date is 1943 so it predates mom's marriage to dad by four years. The pages are yellowed. The binding is crumbling. But, once things have settled here, I'll make a new leather binding for the disintegrated edge and secure it with book glue and book tape.  This 82 year old beauty will live again.
