California Girl: Duck River Edition. Early Morning.
It is so quiet and peaceful on the front porch. The 🐦s have greeted the day, a hummingbird fluttered for a moment in front of me and a woodpecker is hard at work. The occasional dog barks at a distraction. I've been sitting here for about 30 minutes and only an early morning walker has passed by. I can hear traffic in the distance but the nearer traffic hum has ebbed; people have arrived at work by now.
